We only collect what’s needed to deliver the app’s features.
- Account identifiers (anonymous). Used to keep your data linked to your device and synced across iPhone and iPad.
- Device or installation identifiers. Used for security, abuse prevention, and basic reliability analytics.
- Content you add. Includes cat profiles, checklists, reminders, medication logs, vet visits, notes, and attachments (photos or PDFs). This content powers your daily care tools.
- Subscription status (Free or Pro). Used to unlock features and manage access.
- Diagnostics (if enabled by your device settings). Helps us understand crashes and fix bugs.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide the app and improve reliability.
- Sync your care data between devices.
- Send reminders and notifications you asked for.
- Restore your access to Pro features if you subscribe.
- Maintain app performance and fix issues.
We do not sell your data and we do not use third‑party marketing trackers.
Storage and Retention
Your data is stored on your device and synced to the cloud.
MyCat Daily stores data locally on your device and syncs it to a secure cloud database so you can access it across iPhone and iPad.
We keep your data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the app. You can request deletion at any time.
Third‑Party Services
We use trusted services to run the app.
- Authentication provider. Creates a secure, anonymous identifier so your data can sync safely.
- Cloud database provider. Stores your care data for cloud sync.
- Subscription processor. Manages subscription status and restores purchases.
These services process data only to provide MyCat Daily’s features.
Permissions
We ask only when you use a feature that needs access.
- Notifications. Used for reminders you choose.
- Camera and photo library. Used when you attach photos to vet logs or profiles.
- Files. Used when you attach PDFs or documents.
You can change these permissions anytime in iOS Settings.
Your Choices and Rights
You stay in control of your data.
- Access. Request a copy of your data.
- Correction. Update or correct your information in the app.
- Deletion. Ask us to delete your data and account.
- Export. Request a portable copy of your data.
